This is a great book, for surfers and non-surfers alike. An exciting and humorous, and at times sad, book to read. Rabbit's life is a series of twists and turns and very human mistakes. I especially liked the stories of his first trip to the Hawaiian Islands, North Shore. I was laughing a lot and couldn't put the book down. A good chronicle of the 'Aussie Invasion' of the mid-1970's, and all of the crazy stuff that happened during that time.Pro Surfing nowadays seems very tame in comparison.
